Warranty and Returns

This Warranty and Returns Policy only applies to products sold by Rare Spares. It does not apply to third party products sold by Merchants (as defined in the Terms of Use). Merchants are responsible for all faults, returns and warranties relating to third party products purchased on this site and therefore, you should contact the Merchant directly in relation to such third party products.

Returns are simple and easy.
We're committed to providing the best customer satisfaction possible. We will gladly refund or replace any defective item and most non-defective items. Within 30 days of receipt of your order, you may return products that meet each of the following criteria:

Once we have received your return, conducted an inspection of the return, and verified that your return meets the above guidelines, a full refund will be issued. All applicable sales taxes will be refunded. The cost of shipping will be credited only in those instances that the return is a result of our error.

Changeover Items
All reconditioned changeover goods are supplied by using customer’s “old core” units. Once Rare Spares receive these old units, they are fully reconditioned and put back into stock.
Therefore deposit refunds for changeover goods are subject to the “old core” unit being suitable for reconditioning. I.E. severe rusting, structural damage, parts missing etc, may render the part unsuitable for reconditioning. Once your core unit is received and inspected, you will be advised if the core unit is not suitable for reconditioning.
You will then be requested to locate a suitable core unit. However, if you are unable to find a suitable unit for reconditioning, then the deposit will be forfeited. Should you require the original core unit to be returned, this can be arranged at the customer’s expense.

Rare Spares Guarantee
Rare Spares guarantees the workmanship of the products sold. If you have received a defective or damaged product and wish to return the goods for a replacement or refund, please contact us ASAP using the details below, we will then give you instructions on how to proceed.

Cancel Order Requests
With any cancellation, please contact us as soon as possible. We cannot cancel an order once it has entered the shipping process. In the event that the product is shipped, you will be charged for the order. if you wish to cancel your order, contact us ASAP using the details below and quote your order number.
